When it comes to electric vehicles, there’s no doubt about India getting a hang of it. However, the reasons for getting attracted to and intrigued by EVs might differ from one person to another.
For some, it is the sheer technology that EVs run on, and for others, electric vehicles seem to be an economical alternative to fuel-based vehicles for their daily commute.
However, for us, EVs hold a very special place. We believe that India has the potential to embrace this technology quite effectively and further utilize it to reduce its overall carbon emissions, leading to cleaner air for our citizens. As that happens, we definitely want to make things exciting too.

What is #MyBluKMs 3.0?
#MyBluKms is back again in 2022!
For those of you who might be new to this, let us help a bit.
Since the year we began, (2019) our primary aim has been to make the population receptive to the idea of riding in EVs on a daily basis. Not only to increase awareness about this revolutionary technology but also to ensure that gradually this shift leads to our cities adopting EVs as a primary mode of transportation, leading to far lower emissions and fuel dependency.
This is where we began with the #MyBluKms Challenge. We curated a limited-period competition that focused on our riders clocking the maximum number of kilometers, while also getting a chance to win exciting hampers (Yes, being a superhero pays off 😉).
Each year, a large number of BluSmart riders registered for the #MyBluKms challenge and ended up winning gifts like an all-paid trip to the Andamans, an iPhone 13 Pro and so much more.
In 2022, we’ve decided to up the ante.
How To Participate in the #MyBluKms 3.0?
The #MyBluKms Challenge is one of its kind annual challenge that we bring up. Here’s how you can be a part of it.

✅Click on the #MyBluKms banner that pops up
✅Tap on the register button.
✅Register yourself for the #MyBluKMs challenge and add those kilometers. 🚕
✅Ride in zero-emission EVs and get started.
The #MyBluKms has begun and is active starting from 21st November 2022 to midnight of 21st December 2022, and is available for the existing BluSmart users in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru.
How Does it Work? 🤔
It’s pretty simple actually.
All you need to do is to ensure that your commute with BluSmart as much as you can. For those daily office commutes, covering multiple locations in a Rental, or simply heading out for an evening- a BluSmart is your way to go.
For every kilometer that you travel in your BluSmart, you increase your chances of winning an iPhone 14 Plus or other hampers. You can also access your rankings on the leaderboard where the riders with the most kilometers are featured.
But, what should be a good number to win?
Just to give you a context, the winner of the #MyBluKms Challenge in 2021, Mr. Himanshu Kalra ended up saving 190 kilograms of CO2, which approximates to around 2,500 kilometers.
We’re pretty sure that you can beat that. 💪

The one thing that electric vehicles seem to be battling quite well is the way they are able to combat carbon emissions that emerge from fuel-based cars. While many tend to counter the statement by mentioning the emissions that take place by an EV during the manufacturing process and how most of the grids in India are powered by non-renewable sources.
With a more robust renewable energy infrastructure in place, all of that is going to change as well. With EVs being the primary step toward making the gradual shift happen, there’s a lot to look forward to.
